Adam Ryan

Adam, a law graduate, developed his passion for Intellectual Property during his Erasmus year abroad at the University of Gothenburg, where he undertook a course studying IP. He embarked on his professional journey at Lawrie, where he began his career as an Intellectual Property Administrator, before moving into the role of Trainee Trade Mark Attorney. Now a fully qualified Chartered Trade Mark Attorney, Adam works with clients across various industries, ranging from food & drink to technology & innovation.

In his role, Adam manages the full spectrum of international trade mark and design portfolio services. This includes conducting clearance searches, filing and prosecuting trade mark and design applications, performing IP audits, and managing opposition proceedings. Adam is also comfortable advising on trade mark infringement matters, providing strategic advice in relation to disputes.

Adam is motivated by the diverse nature of his work, taking on projects in different and sometimes challenging industries. He enjoys the opportunity to grow professionally and personally by stepping out of his comfort zone and tackling new challenges.
