Adam Ryan

Adam joined Lawrie having obtained a law degree and deciding to specialise in IP.

As part of our trade mark team, Adam works with clients across several industries, from food and drink to IT, building on his existing trade mark knowledge and skills.

Adam is involved with all aspects of international trade mark portfolio management, including clearance searches, filing and prosecuting trade mark applications, conducting IP audits, filing and defending oppositions and providing strategic advice in relation to disputes.

Whilst completing his Erasmus year abroad at the University of Gothenburg, Adam undertook a course studying Intellectual Property and Design at Honours level.

Motivated by having a diverse workload, he enjoys gaining experience in different and interesting industries that take him out of his comfort zone.

  • Student Member of the Chartered Institute of Trade Mark Attorneys (CITMA)

A bit about Adam

When he's not 'actively' working in the office, Adam enjoys putting his competitive nature to work in cross-fit, rugby, running, cycling and hill walking.
