Elaine recently joined Lawrie in 2023 bringing with her 17 years of experience working in intellectual property covering patents, trade marks, and designs.
Before making her mark in the realm of IP, Elaine worked as a successful Sales Negotiator for a Commercial Estate Agent and secured the sale of a £1.3 million hotel.
Elaine is now a trainee Patent Paralegal and actively supports our attorneys in preparing and filing patent applications, conducting patent searches, managing patent portfolios, and supporting contentious IP matters.
Motivated by client satisfaction and working to high standards, Elaine is enjoying dealing with a variety of clients where no two days are the same.

Despite the whirlwind of parenting 2 children and doting over Dexter the cavapoo, Elaine always has time for a shoe shopping escapade and delights in expanding her collection of heels, trainers, and boots. Embracing the sentiment that, “good shoes get you to great places”, Elaine is poised to stride stylishly and confidently in her new role at Lawrie.
