Greg Ritchie

Trainee Patent Paralegal

Greg joined the Lawrie team to pursue a career in Intellectual Property, having previously worked in the Home Office.

Greg has been responsible for keeping our client and case records up to date, and for assisting with renewals. More recently Greg was promoted to Trainee Patent Paralegal and he is now kept busy assisting our attorneys in preparing and filing patent applications, conducting patent searches, managing patent portfolios, and supporting contentious IP matters.

Greg is motivated by working with and learning from a team that’s passionate and knowledgeable about what they do, and by supporting his colleagues as they care for our clients.

  • MA (Hons) English (University of Aberdeen)
  • MSc Genealogical, Palaeographic and Heraldic Studies (University of Strathclyde)
  • Student Member of the Register of Qualified Genealogists

A bit about Greg

When he is not researching the family tree Greg is a seasoned solo traveller who enjoys discovering lands with chequered histories to learn about people, culture, customs and traditions.
