Monika Bednarek-Hutcheson

Monika joined Lawrie in October 2024 as a Trainee Patent Paralegal to develop her career in the field of IP.

With over eight years of experience in intellectual property, Monika brings valuable expertise to the role. She has previously worked in patent renewals and in European Formalities, where she specialised in preparing European Patent Office (EPO) filings.

At Lawrie, she actively supports our attorneys in preparing and filing patent and trade mark applications, conducting patent searches, managing patent and trade mark portfolios, and supporting contentious IP matters.

Passionate about innovation, Monika loves learning about the inventive and creative achievements of others. She is particularly fascinated by advancements in science, especially in the fields of pharmacology and medicine.
